15:50 actually NOT exactly . It depends on what is the setting in your BIOS SETUP for CPU speed at boot. Then the turbo button will do the opposite.

Well, that was kind of fun. I repurposed my upgraded 486 about 15 years ago, I couldn't bear to sell or scrap it. So I used it as the controller for an old Omni-Turn CNC lathe, my 486 was a big improvement over the lathe's previous controller, and it's still making good parts today. It's fancy, it has 3.5 and 5.25 floppies, in addition, to a hard drive, it also has the smoking hot 100 MHz processor and as much of the fastest Ram it could take, though I can't remember what that was.

I'm STILL running a Soundblaster AWE-32 and the newer AWE64 in my 32-bit Athlon/early 64-bit Opteron systems WITH those old ATI VGA-wonder Cards with input video at 720 by 480 pixels 30 fps !!!
They are attached to my bought-at-auction 480p nightvision cameras recording onto old server-class motherboards, WIndows Server NT4 and/or Windows Server 2000, and SCSI drives which gets backed up to my newer SSD drives NAS network at 100 megabits/sec every 24 hours. I've gotten good video footage and GREAT audio quality from that setup! It's STILL running 20+ years later after we first bought them! It was over $25,000 to $50,000 NEW for that multi-server setup in 1995-to-2000!
The accountants wrote it all down to ZERO dollars after 4 to 8 years or so, so it was free to me after that write-down period! They were going to send it all to the recyclers BUT NOW I get all that fancy server gear and repurpose it for NEW compute activities. On eBay you can get the same gear for less than $50 if you want!
For kicks, I do home-based genome sequencing AND run customized and automated Linux-based CRISPR-like gene editing/modification software to see if I can eventually turn a Chicken into a Tyrannosaurus Rex by injecting peptide-emitters and other bio-material into chicken eggs! Dinosaurs are the ancestors to birds and MUCH dinosaur genetic material is STILL there as junk DNA, so we just need to re-sequence their genetic structure by re-enabling the RNA/DNA bases in specific places on a chicken's genome. We can model and then synthesize NEW DNA/RNA sequences for the ones lost to 65 million years of evolution and EVENTUALLY get ourselves a T-REX or Velociraptor!
Any OLDER computer gear (AMD Athlon/Early Opteron/ATI/AMD Graphics cards) can EASILY perform this using customized CRISPR-based gene editing/synthesis software and genome sequencing systems that would have cost HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars 25 years ago! A 10 year old AMD/ATI graphics card STILL HAS enormous compute horsepower and BECAUSE of modern networking and gridding/cloud software, I can now take advantage of 5 to 25 year old SUPER-CHEAP or FREE hardware to do things only Billion Dollar government agencies could do all those decades ago!
