Mourinho and his past record is phenomenal. But that was then. He is no more than a championship manager nowadays. Barely beat Middlesbrough, lost to Norwich, instills no confidence in anyone nowadays. Advertising Paddy power and lining his pockets while being the media obsessed darling is all he's good for. Give me Simeone anyday. Just look at his record.

Spurs were playing awful football even before all the injuries happened. Mourinho got a few decent results when he first arrived at Tottenham, but the style of football has been nowhere near as good as when things were going well under Poch. I don't think Mourinho has any new ideas, or embraces new or different methods. There is no doubt that he has been one of the best managers in the modern era, but that's in the past. There's no way the Mourinho we have now can be described as one of the best managers in the game today. No way. He's lost it, sadly.

There is NOT a coach in history that could take this team with all its injuries and compete successfully against top teams that have world class players.
Tott - do not have ready replacements that can "just do better" against....
Please name the Tott player that would get regular playing time if they played at

There's no point making comparisons or making excuses. Most premier league squads have a selection of strikers in them. Yet Tottenham apparently only have one or two strikers because Levy is a tight-fisted businessman who does not want to invest the same money into his squad as other clubs will. No sympathy at all. Spurs knew about the Kane situation during the Winter transfer window, yet instead of bringing a striker in, they bring in Bergwijn instead, another winger which they don't even need! How foolish was that. Spurs have created their own problems, including sacking Poch and bringing in Moaninho in the first place. As an outsider, it's impossible to sympathize, Spurs appear to be getting just what they deserve, based upon key decisons made by Levy.
