    • Krakra Kranich
      Krakra Kranich Vor year +1

Hey. 90% of the time you wont have any problems finding seats in the trains but the DeutscheBahn ( if thats what youre taking ) is known for doublebooking stuff sometimes and then having trouble seating all the people on the train.
So if you want to be 100% sure, pay a few bucks more for seat reservation

@Julia Mönch I believe Pentagon respectfully (although a bit harsh in places) responded to your comment and your response is to chicken out? Why? Because you can't handle an inconvenient truth? Why don't you just reply to him when he offered you that same courtesy? All you're doing right now is revealing your own fear and ignorance. It's pathetic, really.

    • Seigi Kachimasu
Seigi Kachimasu Vor 5 Monate +2

@Julia Mönch Let me guess, your main concern was the backlash against the refugees and not the trauma of the victims, wasn't it? People like you disgust me.

    • Pentagon1337
      Pentagon1337 Vor 5 Monate +3

@Julia Mönch -I am shocked to read such hateful and racist comments.
Nothing about my comment was racist. Again, you only perceived it that way, likely due to a sickening leftwing upbringing/educational front. Everything I said is a fact that I can back with studies and documented sources. But if you're so convinced that what I say is racist, I'm listening.
-I actually do believe in a multicultural world where the wealthy help the poor
For one, that has nothing to do with multiculturalism and more with socialism and don't even get me started on that crap. You can read the study: E Pluribus Unum : Diversity and Community in the Twenty-first Century The 2006 Johan Skytte Prize Lecture by Robert Putnam. Old and a little outdated, not gonna lie, but this could get you started somewhere. There are plenty of more recent studies with similar findings. Give it a try.
-and after hearing from so many refugees what they had to go through I feel it is our responsibility (as a wealthy nation) to help them.
No, we don't. We don't have a responsibility to help anyone. We are not the world's childcare centre, nor do we have to. If that is so, why don't you shun Saudi Arabia or Qatar or pretty much all of the Gulf States for not taking in a single refugee? Do you even know what SA said about why they don't want to help? Because the Syrian refugees are not ''pure Arabians''. If a European leader would lock their doors and say they're not pure Caucasians, the world would lose their shit, but if SA does it, everyone goes silent. You cry that Germany isn't doing enough, but you keep your mouth shut when the Gulf States don't do shit. Woman, there are 6,500 languages in this world and none of them can express the magnitude of your hypocrisy.
      - I would truly just recommend you to question the media and the way they present things
Have you been living under a rock? The media is incredibly leftwing and represents anything anti-immigration or rightwing in the least as racist, sexist, homophobic, islamophobic, transgenderphobic whatthefuckever. Did you know the initial news outlets say that New Year's Eve went just fine with only a few hassles here and there? Did you know the Mayor of Cologne and Merkel initially tried to hide the atrocity? Give me an answer, Julia, why do you defend someone like that? I want an answer. I really would love to hear why you'd defend someone like that.
-and not go through the world with a mind blocked by negativity and prejudices.
Maybe you should stop living in a fantasy world where your feelings are the biggest drivers of your thoughts and decisions. What you ''believe'' doesn't matter. What you think doesn't matter. The only thing that matters are facts. You need to come to terms with this truth, a truth where no amount of wishful thinking is going to change the reality of the world. Why is this so hard for you to accept? I would really love to hear it.
Maybe you should not go through the world with ridiculous prejudices that everything you don't like is racist and hateful. Stop doing that. Allow me to word this one more time, very fucking carefully. You being offended. Doesn't. Mean. Anything. It doesn't make the other person a racist, it doesn't make them hateful. You don't have the right to shun something because you THINK it's racist, where you're basically committing slander, which is against the law. Stop. Fucking. Doing. That.
One last thing, why didn't you say anything about the fact that those muslim rapists DID plan to meet up in Cologne for their all-out attack? Why are you denying this fact? Don't treat me with a cold shoulder. I want you to answer me.

    • Pentagon1337
      Pentagon1337 Vor 5 Monate +2

@Julia Mönch -I do agree what happened back then was horrible
You better. I'd smack you silly if you try to downplay the event.
-it could‘ve literally happened anywhere it’s not like they teamed up to start this in cologne because they just thought it’s a great place to do it.
Seems like you're a little slow to the party. Let me tell you something that will blow your mind. You said: it’s not like they teamed up to start this in cologne... Guess what? That is EXACTLY what happened. As German authorities discovered an online network with an encrypted messaging forum where, indeed, hundreds of muslims discussed to launch an all-out rape attack in the city of Cologne. What you think didn't happen is E-X-A-C-T-L-Y what happened, you naive Colognist.
-Also, if you judge a city by the bad incidents that happen there, you‘d have no more „great place to live“ on this earth.
I judge it by how they tackle the problem. You said it could've happened anywhere, but nothing is less true. Maybe in Sweden? Germany is the only country who took so many refugees in, one million all at once, with no background checks whatsoever, allowing for the most vile, repulsive and disgusting human beings to enter the country who had only one purpose, to maim, kill, rape and destroy. Anyone who voted in favor of letting them all in are part to blame for what happened in Cologne. That includes you. Next year it almost happened again was it not for the intervention of 1600 policemen, yet, even with women safe zones (and I can't fucking believe that's necessary in a European city), more than a dozen were still sexually assaulted and robbed. The year after, it was chaos again and yes, there is footage of that. If you want links, tell me and I'll send them to you.
-It‘s not like cologne is full of predators or people that randomly attack you on the streets every day,
If we look at actual crime stats from the Bundeskriminalamt, that is exactly what happens... Do you even do your homework or are you just saying it's safe only because you _feel_ that way?
-it’s actually a beautifully multicultural city full of joy and life which you‘d know if you‘d ever been there.
It really isn't a beautiful multicultural city. Crime on average is much higher than surrounding areas and that mainly has to do with the number of non-western immigrants in the city. Multiculturalism doesn't work, it doesn't make things better and it utterly destroys social cohesion. You need to understand that the way you perceive things and the way things are, are two completely different things. Just because you feel everything's fine and dandy doesn't make it so. Also, I've been to Cologne plenty of times before, visiting with family etc and I can say without question that it truly is one of the shittiest cities I've been to in all of Germany, perhaps with the exception of Berlin.

    • Pentagon1337
      Pentagon1337 Vor 5 Monate +2

@Julia Mönch Don't know which part you mean. If you think I believe the Cologne sex attack is a conspiracy theory, I don't. It's a horrible and tragic event and is the reason why I'm surprised every time someone says Cologne is a great place to live.
