I'm in South Florida and was spared the worst. My heart goes out to the people further up in Florida who have suffered devastation from this hurricane. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
@jerry lansbury My exact feelings. We go through this every year. Hope we don't have any problems elsewhere. FEMA will have no money to come help. They spend it all on Florida every year. The F in FEMA stands for FLORIDA.
When are you people going to learn. Just going to see the same sad, flooded people again in a year or two. Florida sucks the life out of FEMA and the taxpayers. The F in FEMA stands for Florida.
@Rita Rossi America doesn't cause wars, it only defends itself or tries to end them.
Down south as well (miami) that hard rain (picture that left for dead 2 level) was nuts knowing I missed this is crazy......Glad you're ok bro 👌🏽
America Causes wars all over the WORLD...but.mother Nature Reminds us that She Is the strongest..that We must use.the intelligence She had given us to live in Peace... and SHARING.
I'm from Miami, Fl and went through Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Now, I live in Orlando and just went through Hurricane Ian. I'll tell you this, the "anxiety" knowing that hurricanes can bring tornadoes, atmospheric pressure, debris, and massive flooding is unsettling for hours on end. Your life hangs in the balance and by the grace of God, I'm still alive. 🙏🙏🙏
@Norah Elaine THANKS! ❤❤❤
I am so sorry to hear. I’m from Jamaica so I understand. God alone. Mi best to you.
@Rex Huggins Since this morning, the water has started to recede. Yesterday, our power came back on, but a neighborhood nearby suffered heavy flooding.
Williams it's very terrible and scary here in FL.... How are you doing my friend ?
5:55 “my house is gone.” The simplicity of that statement, yet it’s still so heavy. It’s crazy how everything can be ripped from you in a matter of seconds. Praying for survivors and the lives that were lost ❤
@Ronald Belton Ignorant asses always seem to try to bring politics into everything and you don't even know what you're talking about. Lee county is more conservative than liberal, but it's pretty damn close. A lot of people you're saying got what they deserved, hate Trump as much as you do.
Here is the final video declips.net/video/f_TJ9KMAGQg/video.html
@Ronald Belton Say what you want. You're no better.
@elsiebee You can't stop the work of God, kill all you hateful heathens
@Rex Huggins praying for you! I am keeping updates on FL currently. I am in SC, we got it bad but not that bad. Stay strong friend.
I feel so sorry for the poor, people who suffered through this terrible Hurricane, and lost their homes, with all the devastation, ruiningwhole Areas and neighborhood's, and loss of lives, which can never be replaced. God bless and comfort, all the people affected, and all the rescue workers, that go out of their way, to help people. You are truly heroes. 🥺🙏🙏🙏🙏
@Rubin Turner This destruction hasn't happened before. As a matter of fact, it's fairly rare for a hurricane to actually hit this area. They go past and do a little damage. Sometimes a lot of damage, but nothing to this extent. If Sanibel got wiped out every year or two, I could see your point, but as it stands, you just sound really uneducated as to how things are here.
To me, I'm tired of feeling sorry for individuals who know Florida and those hurricanes cause this type of damage and defiantly continue to reside there. Really makes zero sense.
Get your awareness checked, lady
The poor? The wealthy were severely impacted by the adverse conditions the storm inflicted upon them.
Northeast Florida resident here. Even if we got spared from the worst, that night when it reached us and lost power at 3 AM, hearing the wind and rain in the middle of the night scared me so much. I'm praying for everyone who got worse impacts. I'm glad I'm moving up to Tennessee or Alabama next year or so. I know Florida was my childhood because of going to Orlando for the theme parks but I think it's time to move soon. just don't know when.
@aswer huio aw that was so sweet of you to say that 🥰
Former Floridian here and let me just say this is incredibly upsetting. Like how do the residents even recover from this? By the time the city is rebuilt it'll be hurricane season again. Very sad.
@Jason Johnson Believe me this is God's wrath you can't hide from that just like death you can't hide from that.
@Jason Johnson That is called freedom I can live where I see fit you would never run my family Florida is a great state no where is perfect my family has lived 100 years in Florida and we are very strong, survivors you probably couldn't last 2 days in my shoes.
@Jason Johnson That is the problem with some people you just said it you don't care and you reap what you sow and people will not care about you too.
@Jason Johnson Death can strike you anywhere just like Hurricanes too have a little respect for people that lost loved ones and everything people just living there lives there aren't commiting crimes like some loot and steal for no reason Florida hard working class people and they are quick to help others.
THAT'S A RACIST STATE. They had it coming a long time ago. Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.” But this is what the LORD Almighty says: “They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are affected by storm Ian. Watching this, we wish we could go and help those in need . The UK sends it's prayers to all
I'm so sorry to all the people, animals & businesses that are caught up & affected by this hurricane Ian. After all the BS that has been life for the last 2yrs & the knock on effects of all of that, this must just feel like another nail in the financial coffin. Good luck to you all, GOD BLESS
I live in Orlando, and my house didn't really get affected. We had electricity and internet the entire time. Really lucky and blessed. I wish the best to those who did suffer from this hurricane. Props to all the first responders.
PEACE CALMLOVE ONE ANOTHER HUMANITY UNITED OPTIMISM
Thanks for the update..🤗
Lived several years on the island & to say I'm heartbroken would be a understatement, what a beautiful community to live in or visit. I'm ready to move back right now & help rebuild & do my part ❤️
My son lives in Fort Myers, he evacuated out of state to my house. He is lucky his house has minor damage, but they know so many who lost it all. My daughter in law worked on Sanibel Island. My son went through hurricane Katrina with us as a teenager and knew to get out. No two storms are the same and if you are faced with a storm this bad just get out, just because the last storm didn't harm you does not mean the next one wont. This video reminds me of how the Mississippi coast looked after Katrina, Just heartbreaking.
@Alex Avery Why couldn't she get out in time? We got evacuation alerts more than 24 hours in advance.
smart people know to evacuate. only "patriots" and those who lack the means have to ride them out
God bless you and your family
Noo, it’s a bunch of houses built on coastal wetlands. There is evidence of prehistoric sea creatures being the washed ashore in events like these. It’s not uncommon for fossils to be found. Just a bunch of crazies over the last few hundred years; running natives off of their fishing grounds and building houses soon to become garbage dumps. What you’re witnessing is a result of habitat destruction. Build inland and the coastline protects from these natural occurrences; build on the coastline and these natural occurrences become “DISASTERS”. 100 year old real estate scam, educated opinion.
My heart goes out to the residents and ppl of Florida its truly heartbreaking seeing the aftermath of Hurricane Ian and knowing what they experienced.
Im praying for everyone effected by this storm. I lost everything in Hurricane Katrina, I evacuated and came back to nothing. I understand why many chose to stay instead of evacuate. With record inflation, people cannot afford to travel and stay in hotels. It's very expensive to evacuate.
@Moses KongI lol
@Nina J Shelters can be dangerous or uncomfortable.
There are many shelters that people could go to. There is no reason to stay and try to ride it out, especially when it's this dangerous.
@Moses KongI Wtf this guy...Learn your English first.
*NollaGirl504* You are much cuter and much beautyfuller than Hurricane. Wood you date korea man? I only been in prison just once.
Very, very dangerous living this close to the sea! Prayers to everyone affected by this awful event!🙏🏻
I remember going through Harvey.. my prayers going up for these people.
My prayers go out to all those affected by the storm. Thanks to all those first responders. They are earth angels!!!

Just release my first song 💥Tell me what you think about it 🔥🌪️
@Amber Egan It's called having sympathy. Be more respectful and understanding instead of crassly dismissing their thoughts and prayers. I might not follow their particular religion myself (I'm a theist), but I at least understand why they give their prayers and what it means to them.
@max Oh thank you for the explanation
My thoughts go out to everyone effected by hurricane Ian. I'm in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. I'm hurricane Ida survivor near Grand Isle. We're coming back stronger and ya'll will too. We are Gulf Strong
I hope that everyone affected by this disaster will be able to recover what was lost. Pray for the people of Florida.
Dear GOD please watch over these families! My heart, love and prayers go out to Our families in Florida!
In Jesus name Amen
Actual heroes out there thank you to all who are willing to lend a helping hand ❤️
It's good to see so many people coming together to help each other. Our prayers go to those who did not make it. This is how it should be always. Put politics aside and speak with your heart. The world would be a much better place.
@IM_ agine little racist huh
You mean like everyone helped Ukraine??
Sorry it was collateral damage. I pray for natural disasters & diseases bc your state starved me then allowed the local businesses to fck over my medical settlement and car warranty. We need my credit fixed and every dollar spent on the car back. Then i want relocation to a quality home and not fcked with again by your local mafia. Then ill be compliant. Maybe next hurricane ill help. Remember god answers prayers. Ill stop praying for natural disasters and diseases once its made right. In my movie idea. Thank the phone reps.
My heart ❤️ goes out to all of these devastated people.May you all find safety and others to listen to your fearsthere is hope in numbers 🌻
Patricia it's very scary and terrible here in FL... How are you doing my dear friend ?
My son and his family live in port Charles, thankfully safe. Sending thoughts and prayers for every affected. My best from Vermont.
My heart goes out to all Floridians and anyone affected by this awful storm. It’s a powerful reminder of the strength of Mother Nature. She is not to be underestimated. And this was a category 4. Imagine the devastation if it was a cat 5. Absolutely mind blowing. Stay safe out there.
Maria it's very terrible and scary here in FL.... How are you doing my dear friend ?
Isaiah 45:7"I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things."Proverbs 1:26"I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;”Isaiah 43:13"Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?"
Praying all the people in FL is well and gonna be recovered it all soon. 🙏
Omg, I hope y'all stay safe, and get through this. Much love
Hoping the residents of Florida and the Carolinas stay safe and can recover from the devastation.
My heart goes out to everyone affected❤️
Wow... I'm a loss of words. My condolences to the ones lost and their families. I don't think anyone expected it to be like this. My heart goes out to you. ❤️😞
@ReligiousZombie RIGHT, They were told to evacuate and they didn’t, it’s their problem
So, no loss for words
How could you not expect this? I'm in Germany and I knew days before the storm hit which path it is likely going to take and how strong it will be. Everyone knew exactly what was going to happen.
Hurricanes happen every year, and this is what they do. It's not a surprise at all. Thousands died in Hurricane Katrina. THAT might have been a surprise to some. Okay, maybe if thousands are dead in this one too, that will be a surprise. Otherwise... it was expected.
*21:46**** Lets just take a minute to appreciate how much time and work she put into these videos?* *It's unbelievable, and I think they deserve a lot more than that* ^_^
It's really comforting to see how much more quick and organized the response has seemingly been compared to Katrina. There's still a long road ahead but it looks like a lot of lessons have been learned.
Heartbreaking. My best wishes to all the people affected by this.
Prayers of protection and well being for all the KIND people of Florida.
😭 God bless the rescuers❣️
Having all the power, your god could had stopped this, right? You know why it didn't stopped it? Because your god is only in your head. Time to grow up.
The trauma you suffer from living through something of this magnitude is something I can’t describe! I will never stay for another storm !! Praying for these poor people!!
This breaks my heart for these families. Praying God will supply everything they need
I'm from North Florida and we are still recovering from Hurricane Michael in 2018. I feel for my fellow South Floridans
Sending love to my family and the rest of people in Florida from Jamaica 🙏🏻
I'm praying for everyone affected by this storm, I'm in England and I couldn't imagine having to go through something like like. Stay safe guys
Thanks brother that means a lot I'm in Central Florida just got done writing out that hurricane It was no joke and not for the faint of heart
I visited SW FL in january for vacation and seeing that all the beautiful places like sanibel and pine island, Fort Myers where i was are destroyed breaks my heart. I pray for all the kind people over there, i felt in love with you and your state ❤️🙏
First responders are so amazing. When u start to think the world has gone to hell then u see this compassion.
Praying that the west coast of Florida will recover from this devastation! Praying that South Carolina doesn’t get hit bad . In Jesus name I pray Amen!
This is why I love this country, there might be alot of different crazy stuff that happenes here but in time of need people always come together
😢It’s such a tragedy that the hurricane struck Florida so hard but I am glad to see everyone coming together and helping each other in this drastic time of need. Continuing to send prayers.
@MaKhani Arcane 💓
@Philly Larkin.s I know what it’s like to loose everything but I couldn’t imagine going through that😢
Imagine investing your life in the beauty of Florida only for that to happen. Devastating
@Sucy elish This has nothing to do with the hurricane smh how are you trying to promote on the devastating backs of hurricane victims
Wow...just wow....god bless all those going threw it right now...may you all stay safe and rebuild stronger then ever Florida...the sun will shine again...stay strong Florida 💯
Sad for sure, but if this literally happens every year I can’t imagine living in FL full time. No way. Praying for everyone hope you and your loved ones stay safe. 🙏
What do you mean, this happens every year? This has never happened before? Hurricanes very rarely make landfall here. Those that hit near here have never caused this much destruction.
Second time in my life I missed a truly catastrophic storm but just a few miles-after Andrew when I was a toddler. What a nightmare.
I live in Cape Coral, and I decided to stay. I lived through Hurricane Andrew and Andrew had nothing on Ian. My kids, mother and I were terrified from all the debri that hit the windows. I had shutters up but some flew away. Half of my roof is missing shingles and all panels are gone but we did not get the flooding that others are experiencing now. Ian has caused complete and utter devastation. The electric grid has to be completely reconstructed. We have no idea how long we'll be without water and power. I was raised in Miami and just moved here a year ago but I'll be moving out of Fl in the near future. Its not wort living here with the type of climate we are living through. My heart goes out to everyone here...
Brave 1st responders !!!Prayers for the people of Florida affected.
@Jesus Saves! Says an ancient unprovable book, I believe in langoliers.
@Jesus Saves! This is simply more hearsay. Prove what you claim or piss off.
@blankety blankFor context, Jesus is "he". Mark 8:29-31 KJV29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
@Jesus Saves! Your Jesus couldnt and didnt save himself.
We in the houston area went through this same thing when we were hit by Harvey. My family and so many family’s lost so much from Harvey. I say all of this to say that, the power of humans coming together to rebuild a community is so powerful, and I know this storm will be no different for Floridians. You will rebuild, and your town will be so much stronger for it. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys!
sure did.....lost everything , house, car, furniture, etc. because of harveyflooding. had to be rescued by boat. can't do much, but move away, n move on.
Incredibly eery… been to fort myers beach several years ago, and it’s beautiful. And seeing some of those shots of destruction and being at those locations before, it’s tragic.
Omg! My heart felt sadness for those people in Florida wow!
Thank goodness I didn’t leave nyc for Florida. My prayers are with the people affected by this terrible storm
My heart goes out to all that have been impacted due to this devastating event. I am Australian and we have had some freak weather here too. So many are still homeless and it’s absolutely heart breaking. I lost almost everything I had last year so I know what it’s like to have to start again so please know you can do it. Stay strong and don’t let it break you💞💞💞
@Bully Maguire John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."Proverbs 18:2"A fool does not delight in understanding,But only in revealing his own mind."
@Ron Sagolili as a fellow Christian, yoyr comment and use of scripture here is 1) unwarranted and unhelpful and 2) lacks the heart of God. I can't believe you would post this in response to human suffering. You do not know God if this is how you are acting. "You will know a tree by the fruit it bears. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit."
@Kinsey Compass thank you for your beautiful comment, it is deeply appreciated and although I may not know you I know you have a kind and good heart and it means a lot to me💞💞💞
May God protect everyone in Florida and may Floridians recover swiftly from this hurricane devastation. Much love and prayers from India 🤲
Prayers from Oregon for my Florida friends.
My prayers for everyone in Florida and the families effected. Prays from 🇬🇧
My sincere prayers for you all🙏🙏🙏🙏 stay safe and strong 🙏🙏🙏🇮🇳
This surely brings back haunting traumatic memories of hurricane Hugo, 1989 on the island of St. Croix USVI. We were completely decimated. We were presented with a much similar scene the day after. It was one of the most traumatizing experiences to have gone through. My heart goes out to all trying to figure out what their next step is in the aftermath of this wicked storm. May God give you all the strength to carry on 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@Timothah Molone A whole State cant be R-cist, you generalizing d-wit.
Learning about Problems helps with said Problems - thats like... a universal rule of this Universe? I mean, UpisnotJump, Hbomberguy, Climate-Town, OCC, Some More News, they all cover Cliamte-Change. But Some More News is even a Level above that cause hes all specialized on 'listing Problems'.
@Diego De La Torre Come again? Did you hear me mention God? The naivety in fact comes from someone such as yourself who's trying to initiate some theological dispute that has no grounds, simply because of my referencing the storm as "wicked"? Come again buddy, If that's your understanding of why I chose to regard the storm as a "wicked" one, well you're obviously lacking basic comprehension skills. Do me a favor and go Diego go, because if you were in the path of this "wicked" storm, your questionable faith in God would most certainly enable you to call this storm alot more than "wicked".
Wicked storm? Haha you're so naive. The storm was controlled by God.. are you calling Him wicked?
I didnt realize the extent of the damage, prayers to all affected, one of the worst storms the US has seen, I cant begin to imagine the cost of the damage
My heart and prayers to all families of the community
I'm in east Orlando, Union Park 16.69 " of rain. Lived in Florida all my life, been thru 50 plus hurricanes. Never have I seen this much flooding. Orlando's many small lakes over flowed. This is but one more of the many natural disasters taking place every day around the world. Often more than 400 earthquakes in one day not counting under 2 on RS. Flooding and devastating landslides, dam failures, sinkholes. More than 25 volcanoes now active globally.Get ready, prepare, this is the Beginning of Sorrows just as foretold over 2000 yrs ago in that ancient book called the Bible so many despise and ignore. None will escape that which is coming. It's all there, specific hatred towards all things Christian and Jews. Love of self and money. Moral values despised. Wars and rumours of wars, race against race, nations in peril. Global diseases and famines, plagues and violence. Many more specific events noted so that none would confuse them with everyday events. Israel becoming a nation again, in 1 day after 2000 yrs marks the global warning to mankind, the calling of Jesus is soon coming. It is written; He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
I'm so sad for the beautiful state of Florida and the poor people, homes and communities. I hope they come back stronger than ever. 😭😞
Millie it's very terrible and scary here for us in FL...... How are you doing today my dear friend ?
Respect to the helpers
Amarica destroed UKRAIN..........natcher attck ...to .,,..Amarica.......
@Eby Chuks give me strength, god give them nothing, ts there job, good will and spirit made this happen nothing more nothing less.
@Austin Hernandez those helpers needed God to be able to render the help they did. God is not your enemy, the devil is. John 3:16-17
It would only take one time for me to experience something like this and I would be gone. Too much anxiety year after year for me to feel comfortable living like that.
I’m so thankful for ya’ll bring the news to us all, it’s terrible storm, I’m praying for everyone in the path of this storm
Cindy it's very terrible and scary for us here in FL.... How are you doing my dear friend ?
grian, i have watched you since season six. the fact that you know what a sheep farm even is shows massive improvement
Devastating. For those leading the state, this is outrageously difficult for any leader to handle. Stay strong and carry on. For those impacted, we are sending you all positives. Urge everyone to donate to the Florida state fund. Thank you to the thousands heading there from the Midwest to help.
Jolie it's very terrible and scary for us here in FL.... How are you doing my dear friend ?
Keep in mind the news was telling people it was going to hit Tampa Bay until a day or 2 before the storm was going to hit. For some people it wasn’t enough time, like the elderly or even people who didn’t think it was going to be bad. Either way I’m praying for everyone like my aunt who we haven’t heard from in Estero, Fl next to Fort Myers. This was a no joke storm. (Edit, she is safe just the whole street is a river and has to be evacuated but hoping it goes down soon thanks for the love 🙏🏽)
@Fernando Ortiz nope, they said it could go either north or south.
@M M i am not pertaining to the people i was pertaining to the government people running Florida wasn't prepared yes they have a plan but it was very narrow. much could have been avoided more tbh.
@BAN EVERYTHING! I don't think they were lied, but you got a point about those in a challenging situation. This is a good reminder to cultivate friendships and the sense of community, so in time like this you can evacuate on time with others if you can't on your own, and come back with the same support to face the aftermath situation.
Thank you for the efforts to save so many lives! Prayers from South Mississippi! 🙏
@Rex Huggins I couldn't even imagine. The biggest I've been through is a CAT 3. I hate hurricane season. I am well thank you! Sending love and light to those affected by hurricane Ian!
Wacky it's very terrible and scary for us in FL..... How are you doing my dear friend ?
David Muir!! Favorite news man!! Thanks for telling us what's happening with Ian, man!!
God bless all the first responders!!
My power was off for about ten hours. I'm in Bradenton. It's a mess here, but still very manageable. It only gets worse the further south you go. Prayers going out to Ft Myers, Naples, Sarasota and other townships hit hard by this storm
same here we just had a category 5 typhoon here in the philippines last week 180kph sustaining wind and 240kph of gust wind, before it was just an ordinary typhoon in less than 24 hrs it became a category 5 typhoon, these typhoon or hurricane is getting stronger, this climate change is getting worst every year. Prayers to those affected by this hurricane.
I'm so sorry that happened. Praying for you all 🙏🏽
I have family in Naples… I’m lost for words, their house was washed away. Prayers for anyone there and any loved ones still stranded
Thank you lord for everyone who are safe.Guide all during this harrowing time as they willl need it.I went through irma as an eight year old 5 years ago in St.Maarten and thank for my dad we came through all safe.Stay strong.
Build back with brick now
out. We were without power and no way to go anywhere for days. My heart goes out to all these people it's a horrible situation.
Cape coral resident here. And this was the worst hurricane I have ever been through. My roof was being worked on before it hit. There was times I thought it was going to blow off. The winds are something I will never forget. It truly was scary. My duplex is still standing, but severe damage everywhere
@Sucy elish that nerd got bots everywhere 😟
I’m glad you’re ok but why didn’t you evacuate?
@DaOldSchoolRapLova96 thanks brother
Luckily you’re safe brother
This is so sad my heart ❤ brakes for them
I yi yi...my heart breaks for this destruction, praying for all affected
A heartbroken situation, i feel so sorry for the whole community. I/we convey my/our deepest prayer to Florida USA, that the situation might get back swiftly to normal. . . . from the Philippines
No matter the politics this is devastating. I feel the same way when it's a brush or wildfire or a tornado. When lives are lost or there are major injuries or when people's lives are torn apart you can see the difference between humanity and people who have none.
@Kim Leone Um, because mine did and you REPLIED to it?
@Ms Arugula-Ragu my comment has nothing to do with a politician. Why do you bring it up?
@DeenNice I'm sorry. Desantis is an intellectual? That makes Trump a Rhodes scholar.
@Ms Arugula-Ragu Clearly an intellectual who thinks their own thoughts right here.
God bless to all victims :(
Praying for Florida 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😭😭😭
Heartbreaking just watching this video. May God bless them all.
Absolutely heart breaking.
Unbelievable! Thank you to all those rescuers! What a complete nightmare for Florida.
No matter what happened in the past and in the future, people still love to live by the waterfront! The Sunshine State is the best retirement state of most seniors, with the most number of golf courses, marina and winter hideaway for the northerners. Residents don't care whether insurance is affordable or available for waterfront residents. Florida is a paradise.
Its amazing how many ppl dont prepare for events like these, specially when we are given days notice. I saw somebody asking for milk for their toddler literally right after the storm.
This breaks my heart to see 💔
My thoughts and prayers are with the people in Florida
This reminds me of Typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines years ago. My heart goes to the people and pets affected by typhoon Ian. Salute to rescuers too. I hope you all get through.
@Lil Zenwi Cat 4 typhoons are becoming a regular experience here in Philippines. We have become resilient. I have experienced both Cat 5 Haiyan and Rai. It was like a nuclear bomb. Nothing can be prevented.
@Lil Zenwi there were casualties, sadly.
@Abthebank_rg about you
No one cares
Imagine giving birth throughout this hurricane. Must be difficult… I was in Florida during the storm (Kissimmee) but we are all right. Prayers to all, and God Bless!
@deleteyrself1 not really my first thought.
what a weird first thought
It's the same as we experienced here in our place in Leyte Philippines during the typhoon Haiyan last 2012. Strongest typhoon ever happened in Philippines. Many people died. So sad
I experienced the full brunt of Hurricane Irma. The horrors of a storm and the aftermath are some of the worst things a person can experience in their lifetime. Prayers for Florida.
@bilanoid22 St. Croix? I experienced the full brunt of Irma on St. Thomas. It's amazing how our little islands bounced back from these catastrophic storms.
Absolutely correct my friend. Scarred from since I experienced the full brunt of Hurricane Hugo 1989 on the island of St. Croix USVI. I've always experience lots of anxiety when we're in the season ever since that time.
Some tracks are saying cat 1 while others show cat 2 for Ian as it went through my area on the way to Orlando. We got the top left of the storm as it went by. 10 hours of just hunkered down and listening to the howling and the rain. My area got power back amazingly fast, 48 hours. For Charley it was 7 days. I can't believe the damage where it made landfall. I am grateful my area didn't get damaged to that extent.
My heart goes out to the people of Florida. Stay strong.
@Sal Montanio Lmao
@Sal Montanio Um... Moron. This destruction hasn't happened before.
They continue to live there knowing the dangers! They have no right to complain!!
liberals and independents...yes. the rest arent really people, imo
this is the second hurricane florida has had in like 4 years
