The franchise claims that every death in the movies are deserved, but I don't think any of the magestic dinosaurs deserved it. I think this is why most of the movie was so terrible

This movie is so bad. I kept wondering, why does Chris Pratt look so bored in this movie? It's because he's staring at green screens the entire movie. The CGI is overwhelming, and not in a good way. It's like watching cartoons fight cartoons. It got the point where I was hoping the dinosaurs would eat all the main characters. Then there wouldn't be another needless sequel.

Interesting how a shockwave will effect a t-rex but not Chris Pratt. They're not good at reacting to the directions around them.

@Gianluca Dadomo in this production,he's just the executive producer.sure bayona can talk to him about some ideas for the scenes but bayona is at full control.

@Gianluca Dadomo indeed and so did the previsualization for the scene but all that could change when they sent the footage to the vfx studio and the director has the control to change it however they want as we could see in the finished version when the gyrosphere moved when it collided with rexy's ankle.

I really loved this film too. It wasn't as good as the first 2 films, but miles better than JPIII and JW, in my opinion. Yes the script for this movie was sub-par, but the direction is fantastic. Not only that, the CGI and animatronics are realistic, it's colour graded quite well too. I feel as though everything wrong with JP can be applied to JW:FK.

Stop hating on the director. He didn't write the script, which is where the movie failed.

    • Neil Kaskoun

Finally, someone who actually understands that the director was not the problem when it comes to this film. As much as I loved Fallen Kingdom, I have no problem acknowledging that Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly were responsible for many of the problems of the screenplay had for several audience members. J.A. Bayona was brought in to shoot the pretty pictures, he was not involved with the writing process. Just to clarify, I loved this movie, and refused to harsh on it because the problems I have with this film can easily be traced back to the original movie. And if I'm not going to call out the first film for its flaws, then I'd be a hypocrite to do it to Fallen Kingdom. This really isn't a J.A Bayona film at its core, it's a Colin Trevorrow film pretending to be a Bayona film.

5:49. Shock wave comes, Rex is startled and Owen, a human, doesn't even flinch. Besides having a script that is extremely below par, they even managed to mess up the entrance for the greatest beast to ever grace our cinema screens. It's such a shame. I adore this franchise, but Treverrow and Connolly don't know what they're doing. They just keep screwing everything up and it breaks my heart...

    • Zulhazreen zulkifli
      Zulhazreen zulkifli Vor 9 Monate

Guys.he's trying to say that the shockwaves could make the trex flinch while owen,a small human could stand still like it was nothing.if a shockwave that strong could make the trex flinch, surely a human would probably drop or fly by the force of the shockwave but I don't think the audience would focus on owen since we have a freakin rex in the shot.

No he's actually a pretty great director watch The Impossible or The Orphanage and you'll see he can make some fantastic films. What ruined this film was the absolutely awful script written by Colin Treverrow. It let the entire film down and if anyone's a hack it's Colin not the director.

There needs to be a R rated Jurassic film where dinosaurs are actually dinosaurs and not to busy opening doors and pulling beds covers off little girls beds like in a certain film

Roberto Horacio De Lugo this ☝️ sucked badly. There’s more to directing than moving the camera. The director takes the burden of all departments of filmmaking. A bad script = bad filmmaking. Don’t care how he filmed a scene.🤷‍♀️
